Station Events

What to Expect

Please be sure to review the information below prior to completing the online ‘Request an Event‘ form.

Prior to the Event ▼

Postcards
Your your MCGA District Field Manager will mail custom postcard invitations to MCGA members and other prospective customers within an approximately 20-30 mile radius of the fuel station. Postcards are typically sent one week prior to the event date.

Posters
Your MCGA District Field Manager will create and print 8.5 x 11 posters for use in your local community and at the station location.  Posters will be mailed to station location one week prior to the event, unless otherwise specified.

Pre-Event Promotion
County organizations are responsible for coordinating any additional pre-event promotion. Please work with your MCGA District Field Manager on any additional station event needs.

Connect with Station
Your MCGA District Field Manager will contact the station to confirm the event details and ensure the station has all the necessary event information.

Station Event Staffing
County organizations are responsible for all on-site staffing at fuel promotion events. Please work directly with your MCGA District Field Manager for event-related needs and questions.

During the Event ▼
  • Please click here for a complete list of the signage, handouts, and other materials available for your event.
  • County organizations are responsible for all on-site staffing at fuel promotion events.
  • County organization volunteers are to help direct traffic flow and assist drivers to correct fuel for their respective vehicle, have conversations and answer questions about ethanol fuels, and provide goodie bags/handouts.
After the Event ▼
  • Connect with the station after the event for recap information such as gallons pumped and total drivers.
  • County corn organizations are also encouraged to provide feedback to your MCGA District Field Manager (what worked well and potential areas for improvement). Your time is appreciated.
  • County corn organizations may also consider submitting eligible fuel station event expenses to MCGA/MCR&PC’s County Matching Funds program.
